Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been for centuries addressing the following categories of health:

  • Facial Rejuvenation
  • Mental Health and Stress Relief
  • Pain Relief
  • Energy Boost
  • And many others

Acupuncture is one of most ancient and characteristic therapeutic techniques of Chinese medicine. Very fine needles are inserted into various points in the body with the purpose to heal various conditions.

According to the principles of Chinese Medicine, the body possess a sophisticated network of channels through which the energy – Qi, is circulating. All diseases are the result of this energy not flowing properly. Stimulating different points allows the Qi to flow well again which relieves pain, produces relaxation of mind and body, produces homeostatic effect harmonizing the body’s innate ability to self-regulate and enhances immunity. Acupuncture also produces an anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effect, as well as it hastens the motor recovery in patients who became paralysed.

Regarding the human being as one united entity, not just a composition of various parts, is an essential principle in Chinese medicine. The goal is to cure the patient as a whole person, and not merely attempt to cure the disease or the affected parts only. As our organs and systems are interrelated by various meridians, injury to or sickness at any one part will affect other parts, resulting in loss of harmony and occurrence of the disease.

Thorough diagnosis is made on the basis of asking the patient questions and listening to them, feeling the pulse and observing them. Understanding the patient’s life and giving them health suggestions is a very important part of successful treatment and healing relationship. It is a two-way process – the patient’s trust and following practitioner’s advice combined with the practitioner’s healing efforts, that produces results.
